Back To School event[]
The annual Back To School event has started. It lasts until October 5th.
Login daily for your chance to win 7 amazing rewards, 1 for every day of the week! Just by logging in and playing AQ you will qualify for 50 prizes being given away daily. The more characters you play with the better your chances of winning. As an added perk, all Guardians gain an extra 50% chance of winning! Here are the 7 prizes along with the day of the week you can win it:

Talk Like a Pirate Day[]
This year's TLaPD event gave us two new not-so-useful items: Anchors Away Bow, Stormy Charming Swashbuckler
You can get the Bow by answering 20 correct answers from Rhubarb. Answer 35 questions and you can get the Stormy armor (costs Tokens).
RhubZard was pushed to The Void as the boss.
Dragonlorn Keep[]
The Dragonlorn Keep finale has been released. It's called Dragonlorn Keep: Last Watch (or The Final Watch?) and is a war.
Rewards: Aodh's Intervention, Magnus Searing Bastion
Yearly MC set[]
This year's MC set questline has started. It continues from the Dragonlorn Keep summer event, so play through that first in order to avoid spoiling the story (and play through Burning Solstice before playing Dragonlorn Keep!).
Rewards: Angra Linnorm
Angra Linnorm is a pet that spends half of its power to boost your Melee/Ranged damage by half of the power that Dunamis/Thernda gives. It spends the other half of its power on a Backlash effect like Essence of Carnage. In total, it's decent at being a F2P pet booster for Melee/Ranged, but it's not really that great as it is now. The backlash effect is too weak to be utilized properly due to: 1) being on a pet, 2) only spends half of its power for the Backlash, and 3) the element being Harm makes the damage be lower than if it was elemental damage.

The TLaPD seasonal Pyre Rat guest (spell) is back as well. Being a contract (pays Gold to do more damage), it's one of the better guests.
The seasonal BackToSchool LTS items are also back. None of them are particularly good.

The Taxing Cutlass is a nice-to-have weapon for Warriors.
The Arcane Cutlasses are really good for spell-boosting. You should prioritize the Fire and Light variants over the Water and Wind variants. The Arcane Cutlasses deal -10% damage for making your [element] spells do +28.125% damage.
The Gold-Hungry Abyssal Mimic is a great Darkness pet. You pay Gold each turn in order to make it attack. It has 3 modes i total: Idle, normal, and overcharged. In idle mode, the pet does nothing. The normal modes costs a relatively low amount of Gold and does +15% damage compared to a normal pet. The overcharged mode pays more Gold and deals +35% damage instead of +15.

Light of Sunscale (built-in armor )
Spirit of Change
Glass Cannon is a quite decent compression pet. It makes you take 105.7% damage from the monster, but in return, the pet does 120% damage.
Light of Sunscale is not recommended unless you want to turn into a cool-looking dragon.
