Paladin update[]

We finally have the complete update to Paladin! After reaching rank 20, go ahead and complete the advanced quest. This unlocks high level variants of the Paladin class.

When you have unlocked the advanced variants, you will notice that there are variants called Crimson Holy Armor/Avenger/Arcanist and Champion Holy Armor/Avenger/Arcanist. The Crimson ones cost Tokens and seem to be nothing more than recolored versions of the Champion armors. Therefore, Crimson is not recommended.

As written, there are 3 different versions of Champion/Crimson: Armor, Avenger and Arcanist. The Armor version is just a high level version of the standard lvl 70 Holy Armor. Avenger is more Melee/Ranged focused, and Arcanist is the Mage-focused one.

This is how Avenger and Arcanist differ from the normal Armor version:

  • Arcanist uses MP for some of the skills
  • Arcanist's Harmonic Might gives +50 INT (at lvl 150)
  • Arcanist's Summon Steed attacks use INT/CHA
  • Arcanist's Lay on Hands uses INT

  • Avenger's Harmonic Might gives +35 STR/DEX (at lvl 150)
  • Avenger's Summon Steed attacks use STR/CHA if you use a Melee weapon or DEX/CHA if you use a Ranged or Magic weapon
  • Avenger's Redeemer's Might uses STR/END if you use a Melee weapon and DEX/END if you use a Ranged or Magic weapon
  • Avenger's Overwhelming Light (overcharged Inner Light) uses normal skill cost + HP cost

Devourer Saga updates[]

Two new parts of the Devourer Saga prologue have been updated as part of the AQ team's current mission of updating the saga. This time the part 11 & 12 of the Prologue have been updated. Rewards: Light Orb (part 11), Fenris Pup (part 12), Fenris Axes (part 12)

Light Orb is a misc that gives you +Dmg and +BtH on Light weapon/spell attacks. Click here to see how much.

The Fenris axes are Ice/Wind weapons (four versions, Melee Wind, Melee Ice, Magic Wind, Magic Ice) that deal +10% damage and swap to Fire vs. Wolf mobs.

Fenris Pup is a token pet, MC is a simple +5% damage, but it also gives up 50% of pet damage to provide a Dunamis-like boost. This boost isn't to damage, though. Instead, it gives you ~50 END.

Limited-Time Shop[]

It is AQ's 18th birthday. They are celebrating by adding new "Porcelain" items to the LTS, along with a new Birthday Cupcake misc and a Wind clone of Soul Drinker.

Removed:

  • Zfinity Gauntlets
  • Back To School items
  • TLaPD items

Added:

  • Falltide Dagger
  • Hurricane Soul Drinker
  • Porcelain Protector
  • Porcelhino
  • Porcelain Teapot
  • AQ's 18th Birthday Cupcake
  • Maple Ushanka (face)

Falltide Dagger is a returning item. It was last available in 2012. It is a standard Melee Wind weapon. It costs Tokens, so it is not recommended to buy.

Hurricane Soul Drinker is a Wind clone of Soul Drinker . It is a Melee/Magic Wind weapon. 20-proc. It costs Tokens. It's not a bad weapon, especially because Wind is generally the most lacking element in terms of good equipment options. If you consider buying it, wait until we know if it's going to stay through Black Friday. There might be a sale on Z-Token items, meaning you can get the weapon cheaper.

Porcelain Protector is an Earth shield. It's what we call an END drive, like how CIT and Celtic Wheel are STR and INT drives, respectively. Shield gives you (up to) +50 END by paying some SP each turn. Unfortunately, it costs Tokens.

Porcelhino is an Earth pet. It can be toggled between damage mode and Bleed mode. The Bleed is on the weaker side, but it has a higher than normal chance of applying it on the monster.

Porcelain Teapot is a misc. It gives you +20% Earth damage and has a spell-based skill that pays almost all of its damage to inflict Bleed and Paralyze on the monster. Its damage is based on your END. Bth is based on END/DEX. The skill costs nothing to use other than your turn.

AQ's 18th Birthday Cupcake is a misc. It gives you potency to Daze and Fear, making it easier to inflict those statuses on the monster. It also makes you take up to 50% less Light damage and gives you a bit of CHA. Make sure to buy it, as it is a decent misc that will go rare once it gets removed from the shop.

Golden Gift Boxes[]

Removed:

  • Voltaic Hydrocampus Rider Armor

Added:

  • Hurricane Predatory Vampire Form
  • Hurricane Savage Werewolf Form
  • Jack Blade
  • Jack Bracer

Hurricane Predatory Vampire Form and Hurricane Savage Werewolf Form are Wind clones of Predatory Vampire Form and Savage Werewolf Form , respectively. They are decent armors, at least PVF is, but they are not worth a UR box unless you have a lot of them.

Jack Blade is a Melee/Magic Light weapon. 0-proc. It deals +10% damage on monsters with STR > 0. It deals an additional +5% damage if you also have the Jack Bracer equipped.

Jack Bracer is a Light shield. It makes you take -7.1429% damage when fighting against monsters with STR > 0. You take an additional -3.5714% damage if you also have the Jack Blade equipped.

Z-Token packages[]

Z-Token packages for October: https://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=22384400

- Pet Leeches ($25)

- Zombie Hunter ($100)

- Spirit of Mogloween ($20)

The Zombie Hunter armor is an FO Wind armor that makes all attacks from Undeads do Wind damage instead of their normal element. This is very good defensively, since you can protect against all attacks from Undeads, even if they attack with different elements on their attacks. However, because of the updated Paladin class, Zombie Hunter is no longer recommended, as Paladin now essentially does the same as well as having way more possibilites due to its many skills. The other parts of the Zombie Hunter set do not really have any special purposes.

Pet Leeches come in a HP version and an MP version. They are a Harm pet that does extremely low damage but heals you back up 4 times of the damage it did. This pet is not really recommended, as other healing pets (like Fairy Godmother) heals you about the same amount but more reliably (since the Leeches can miss and will heal you less!).
