Everything here is optional but highly recommended. Items with an asterisk are of lower priority. All items are also available at least seasonally (no perma-rares). I'm also not going to mention Awe no-drops as players seldom use them. If there's a N/A you can use whatever you want for that spot regardless of element. Check the links below to find these items and get ideas for your N/A slot.

Ranger Build (Fully Defensive Beastmaster)
The general strategy of this build is contradictory to the traditional Fully Defensive Beastmaster Ranger (FDBR) playstyle. Offensive Beast Rangers (OBR's) try to do as much damage as possible as quickly as possible using Beast Ranger equipment without sacrificing too many resources (SP/HP and charges). OBR's are also flexible as you may still apply other FDBR playstyles such as Dodge and Burn without sacrificing any offensive capabilities. You will use either purple rain or father time-esque shield to regain the resources spent buffing yourself and debuffing the monster on the first turn. Purple rain will grant you one turn kills on most things but Father Time provides a stronger nuke and the ability to bake with your Shieldcake(s), which is valuable during long quests. Your nukes are going to come from your Bar of War armour skills, Necromancer's Haunting skill (darkness), and mega soaker(imbued) with or without Luna charges, followed by high damage guests and pets.
Furthermore, you will make use of your stolen LUK from the monster (Rhubzard) via 100% hypercritical to allow you and your pets to hit like trucks. Add in various buffs, and we have a build that can keep up with the nuking capabilities of traditional offensive builds such as Warriors and Mages but can fall back on the utility of an FDBR if need be. I will provide an example of a nuke setup using the items I recommended. The following setup is enough to easily kill any monster without a damage cap.
Fill your SP bar (Use Essence orb as needed through out these steps) > Equip Doray shield to allow you to rewind on the next turn > Equip whatever status boosters you have such as Spotter Dragon > Use Shadow Feeder Pendant to gain 2 turns of celerity > Click Prime Chaos orb once and use Cherub's first skill > Call Rhubzard guest and pet if you have it > Equip Necromancer for the CHI shield, then equip Haunted Dragonlord's Will and use its skill to protect you from the monster's attack next turn (use any other damage preventing items you feel you may need) > Click Prime Chaos orb once and use Cherub's first skill again > Your Rhubzard(s) will steal the monster's LUK (Anywhere from 0 - 367 depending on LUK and whether you have both or just one) > Survive the monster's attack > Click Prime Chaos orb once and gain hypercritical from both Shieldcakes > Now depending on the monster's resistances you will the appropriate items and boosters/buffs to nuke once by yourself on the first half of your turn then again with yours pets/guest as well on the second half
Only the tankiest monsters require this type of setup. As you play you can figure out setups that require fewer clicks/effort to kill your average mobs.
