Powerful Ultra(!!!)Guardian Scythe

MC 4-Proc Scythe. Must first be unlocked by completing The AntiGuardian! alongside the rest of the UltraGuardian set. By default chooses one of the 8 standard elements each turn (but deals 1.21x damage to compensate), but can be aligned (along with all nodrop equipment) to an element by Nimrod at the Guardian Tower. Additionally, can be upgraded to Powerful Ultra(!!!)Guardian Scythe by obtaining an AWE!!! Golden Giftbox, slightly raising damage dealt.

  • Note: If elementalized, must relog in order to use a single element.
  • UltraGuardian Dragon: Special. Attempts to instantly kill most enemies, with success rate being based on the relative difference between the weapon's level and enemy's level and Power. If they cannot instantly be killed or the roll fails, summons UltraGuardian Dragon Jr. instead.
    • UltraGuardian Dragon Jr.: Only summoned if UltraGuardian Dragon fails to instantly kill. Deals Harm damage based on the relative difference between the weapon's level and the monster's level. Minimum damage dealt is roughly equal to the weapon's level, and is capped at roughly 10x the weapon's level. Cannot miss.

Unlock location: Guardian Tower -> Nimrod -> Quests -> AntiGuardian! (Fight as a Guardian)

Item Location: Guardian Tower -> Armoury -> Click chest -> Ultra -> Weapons

Blade of Awe(!!!)

MC 10-Proc Sword. Must first be assembled. By default Earth, but can be aligned (along with all nodrop equipment) to an element by Nimrod at the Guardian Tower. Additionally, can be upgraded to Blade of Awe!!! by obtaining an AWE!!! Golden Giftbox, slightly raising damage dealt.

Unlike most weapons, the Blade of Awe has multiple specials. Specials are split into "Standard", and "Non-Standard" specials. "Standard" specials happen 60% of the time (6% proc rate), and "Non-Standard" specials happen 40% of the time (4% proc rate). Valencia can align to a specific special, making it the only possible proc. Aligned standard specials retain the 10% proc rate, while aligned non-standard specials have a different proc rate. Numbers shown reflect their effective proc rate.

Standard specials (6% chance):

  • Spiral Carve (1.5% chance): Standard Special. If aligned, deals +25% damage.
  • Awe Blast (1.5% chance): Deals 0.85x damage, but Auto-Hits. If aligned, deals +25% damage.
  • Health Vampire (1% chance): Deals 0.5x damage. Heals HP equal to damage dealt. If aligned, heals HP equal to 150% damage dealt. Healing is normalized, healing as if damage was dealt vs 100% resistance. If above 75% HP, uses Spiral Carve.
  • Mana Vampire (1% chance): Deals 0.375x damage. Heals 125% Melee in MP (653 at 150). If aligned, heals 175% Melee in MP (914 at 150). If above 75% MP, uses Spiral Carve.
  • Soul Vampire (1% chance): Deals 0.375x damage. Heals 125% Melee in SP (490 at 150). If aligned, heals 175% Melee in SP (686 at 150). If above 75% SP, uses Spiral Carve.

Non-standard specials (4% chance):

  • Guardian Dragon (3% chance): Deals (17 + [Player Level - Monster Level]/2)% of the monster's max HP as Harm. If aligned, proc rate raised to 16%.
    • Guardian Dragon Jr.: Happens 10% of the time when the Guardian Dragon would be summoned (effectively 0.3% chance unaligned, 1.6% chance aligned). Follows monster's base element. Deals (17 + [Player Level - Monster Level]/2)% of the monster's max HP. If base resistance is <50%, calls in Guardian Dragon immediately afterwards.
  • Power Word Die (1% chance): Instantly kills most enemies. If they cannot be instantly killed, summons the Guardian Dragon instead. If aligned, proc rate raised to 4%.
    • Note: Certain bosses instead reflect Power Word Die, killing the player instantly if it procs.

Special

Olymp Axe

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Axe. Element follows Paxia Clan, defaulting to Earth if not in any.

  • Flavour Effect: Pays 15% Melee in SP (59 at 150) on attack to deal +15% damage (+20% if Magic).
  • MC: +5% damage.

This weapon is one of the strongest gap-fillers in the game, as its element mirrors that of your Paxian Clan.

Location: Travel Map -> Sail East -> Paxia Clans -> The Olympax (Central South Island)

Custom Weapon

Melee/Ranged/Magic Sword/Spear/Staff. Proc rate (along with potential effect), element, and BtH Lean can be customized.

The weapon has multiple choices for:

  • Hilt - Determines Weapon Element:
Material Element
Fire Ore Fire
Seashell Water
Stone Earth
Ice Ice
Solidified Wind Wind
Bronze Energy
Golden Light
Obsidian Darkness
  • Handle - Determines BtH lean:
    • Puissant (-5) for damage, Normal for consistency without losing damage.
  • Gem - Determines Proc Rate (and potential effect):
    • Flashing (0-Proc) is the only good option due to the weapon using old special standards.

While Custom Weapons have not aged very well due to being on extremely old standards and lacking a MC effect, they can still serve as gap fillers.

Location: Guardian Tower -> Armory -> Treasury -> War Room -> Speak to Logan -> War Room Mission!

Standard Weapons

Heroic Titan's Grasp

MC 0-Proc Fist. Does various things:

  • Flavour Effect: Reduces MRM by 6 to deal +10% damage.
  • Effect: Rather than receive the 0-Proc damage bonus, attacks with this weapon attempt to inflict a Power: (0.1285*[Hits]) Prismatic Burn for 1 turn, capped at 4. This has +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster DEX/LUK.
  • Toggle: Weapon comes with a toggle. Does one of two things conditionally:
    • Deals -50% damage and pays 47% Melee in SP on attack (184 at 150). Attacks with this weapon attempt to inflict a permanent Power: [Hits] Fire Burn, capped at 4. This has +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster DEX/LUK.
    • If total Fire Burn Power is >=10, instead pays 45% Melee in SP on attack (176 at 150) to do the following:
      • Weapon Auto-Hits with no damage penalty.
      • Attempt to inflict a Power: 0.257 Prismatic Burn for 2 turns. This has +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster DEX/LUK.

A monstrously powerful Fire weapon that can seen as a side/upgrade to a Bloodblade. Best used with setups that can fuel the massive Burn it can inflict.

Location: Ballyhoo -> Contests -> Heroic Titan

Pyromancer's Bloodblade

MC Melee/Magic 0-Proc Sword.

  • Flavour Effect: Pays 15% Melee in HP (52 at 150) to:
    • Boost weapon damage by +15% (+20% for Magic).
    • Boost the damage of Fire Spells/Spell-Type Skills by +10%.
  • MC: +5% damage.
  • Full Set Bonus: If using any Bloodmage armour, deal an additional +5% weapon damage and +2.5% Fire Spell/Spell-Type Skill damage. Damage bonus is increased to +10% and +5% respectively if using Pyromancer Bloodmage.
    • In ideal conditions, this weapon boosts weapon damage by +30% (35% for Magic) and Fire Spell-Type attacks by +15%.

The best offensive options for Warriors and Mages. Notably, unlike other Bloodblades, Pyromancer's does not need a GGB to obtain, coming from a Void boss.

Location: Void Challenges -> Caecus See Here

Lorekeeper's Oath

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Sword. Can toggle to Harm Mode:

  • Harm Mode: Deals Harm damage. Pays 10% Melee in SP (39 at 150) per turn, rather than take a damage penalty. Deals an additional +3.33% damage if Magic.

One of three Harm toggles for Warriors (besides Horo-Show Void Vanquisher and Mighty Caissa). Is much more reliable than the former thanks to a tighter damage range and a neutral BtH lean.

Location: Staff Birthday Limited-Time Shop

Blazing Bloodzerker's Sword

MC Melee/Magic 0-Proc Sword.

  • Flavour Effect: Pays 15% Melee in HP (52 at 150) to:

  • MC: +5% damage.
  • Full Set Bonus: If using any Bloodzerker armour, deal an additional +5% weapon damage and +2.5% Fire Spell/Spell-Type Skill damage. Damage bonus is increased to +10% and +5% respectively if using the same element Bloodzerker.
    • In ideal conditions, this weapon boosts weapon damage by +30% (35% for Magic) and Fire Spell-Type attacks by +15%.

While technically a straight upgrade over Pyromancer's Bloodblade thanks to the more relevant set bonus, Blazing Bloodzerker's Sword should not be picked up if the former is available, as Bloodzerker armours do not play well in the modern challenge fight meta.

Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> Rare Shop

  • MC: +5% damage.

The strongest weapon in the entire game bar none thanks to having the damage baseline of a Bloodblade on top of free lean manipulation that affects all outgoing damage on the player's side. There is no reason not to use Multimaul if it is an option.

  • Effect: Rather than receive the 0-Proc damage bonus, has a 5% chance on attack to inflict a Power: (1.22*[Hits]/[Attempts]) Prismatic Burn for 4 turns. This has +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster END/LUK.
  • MC: Comes with a toggle. When toggled:
    • Attacks deal Harm damage. Pays 10% Melee in HP (35 at 150) rather than taking a damage penalty.
    • If enough SP is available, consumes 25% Melee in SP (98 at 150) on attack to inflict a Power: (0.19*[Hits]/[Attempts]) Prismatic Burn for 4 turns. This has +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster END/LUK.
      • If a proc happens when toggled, a single Power: ~1.41 Prismatic Burn is inflicted.

MC Melee 0-Proc Axe. Can toggle between two modes:

  • Ancient Charge: Attacks with this weapon pays 20% Melee in HP (30 at 150) per turn and attempts to inflict a Power: 1 Energy Burn for 4 turns. This has a +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster END/LUK.

Limit Buster

MC Melee/Magic 0-Proc Sword. Comes with a Limit Charge system:

  • Limit Charge: For each 1% 0-END Max HP lost (29.58 at 150), gain 1 Limit Charge. Player must survive the damage in order to gain charges. Can hold up to 200 Limit Charges.

If at least 100 Limit Charges are stored, enables a skill:

  • Skill: Standard weapon attack. Deals +[Charges]% damage. Consumes all Limit Charges.

A truly unique weapon thanks to Limit Charges. Limit Buster is the strongest "weapon skill" in the entire game at full power, beaten only by Status Eaters like Terror Eater.

Zealot's Wrath

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Sword/Spear/Staff.

  • Flavor Effect: Take +10.71% damage (8.035% if Magic), but deals +15% damage.
  • MC: Modifies Lucky Strikes, depending on mode:
    • Melee: 1.5x LS damage.
    • Ranged: 1.5x LS rate.
    • Magic: 1.225x LS damage and rate.

The best Light weapon for pure damage and arguably one of the best weapons ever released for any element. Given the relatively inexpensive Token package that this weapon comes with, it is a highly recommended choice for any fully offensive build.

Location: 2500 Z-Token package (Zealot Arsenal)

Radiant Bloodzerker's Sword/Lumenomancer's Bloodblade

MC Melee/Magic 0-Proc Sword.

  • Flavour Effect: Pays 15% Melee in HP (52 at 150) to:
    • Boost weapon damage by +15% (+20% for Magic).
    • Boost the damage of Light Spells/Spell-Type Skills by +10%.
  • MC: +5% damage.
  • Full Set Bonus: If using any Bloodzerker armour, deal an additional +5% weapon damage and +2.5% Light Spell/Spell-Type Skill damage. Damage bonus is increased to +10% and +5% respectively if using the same element Bloodzerker.
    • In ideal conditions, this weapon boosts weapon damage by +30% (35% for Magic) and Light Spell-Type attacks by +15%.
  • Note: For Lumenomancer's Bloodblade, replace all mentions of Bloodzerker with Bloodmage

The best offensive option for Warriors that isn't tied tp a premium package. Bloodzerker's Sword should be used over Bloodblade for Warriors thanks to the FSB being more relevant for them.

Exalted Unity

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Sword. Uses a Charge system.

  • Charge Mechanics: Gains 4 Unity Charges passively (3 if Magic), but can also spend a turn to gain an additional 80 charges. Comes with a multitude of quickcast skills that consume charges:
Charges Effect
27 Auto-Hit
27 +33.3% Light and Darkness Ele Empower. (Magic attacks get /0.75 and Spell-Type attack get /2 of the boost)
40 Darkness Imbue

While Exalted Unity does not have the same amount of immediate power as Zealot's Wrath or a Blood weapon, it does provide a powerful selection of utility effects that builds may find more useful.

Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> UltraRare Shop (GGB Crossover Extravaganza; may or may not appear each year)

Retro Golden Axe/High Communicant's Grandeur

MC Melee 0-Proc Axe.

  • Flavour Effect: Retro Golden Axe is only MC'd for Guardians. Deals -5% damage if Adventurer.
  • Effect: After attacking with this weapon, heals the player's MP/SP equal to ~(8*[Hits]/[Attempts])% Melee (47 and 35 at 150 respectively).
    • If one resource is >=80% while the other is <80%, the larger resource is not healed while the smaller resource receives doubled healing (94 and 70 at 150 respectively).

An interesting resource generator for STR builds that can help offset SP costs. Weapon-based skills in particular can become even more efficient using this weapon.

Master's Blade

MC Melee 20-Proc Sword. Can toggle between two modes:

  • Damage Mode: Deals +15% damage.
  • Blind Mode: Attempts to inflict a (25.2*[LightRes]*[Hits]/[Attempts]) Blind for 2 turns. This has a +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster DEX/LUK).
  • Flavour Effect: Both the damage boost and Blind potency are scaled based on the player's HP; at 75% HP, they are at 50% effectiveness, and below 50%, they have no effect.
  • Full Set Bonus: When equipped with Lorian Shield, double the base value of both modes (+30% damage, -50.4 BtH Blind).

A unique Light weapon, Master's Blade has great synergy with Dodge-based builds thanks to its blind. Be warned that it loses effectiveness as the player's HP is lowered.

Uragiri

Melee 0-Proc Sword.

  • Flavour Effect: Player loses 6 MRM, and takes +7.14% damage in exchange for +8.5 BtH and +10% damage.

Despite not being MC, Uragiri is one of the strongest Darkness weapons in the game, made even better for coming from a Common GGB.

Location: Valencia -> Golden Giftboxes -> Common Shop

Agony's Embrace

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Sword/Polearm/Sword.

  • Flavor Effect: Takes +10.714% damage if Melee/Ranged or +8.035% damage in Magic Mode in order to deal +15% damage.
  • MC: Increases damage dealt by +([1-(CurrentHP/MaxHP)]*10)%.
    • In layman's terms, for every 25% HP missing, deal +2.5% damage.

While Agony's Embrace is technically one of the strongest Darkness weapon in terms of raw damage, it both has a steep opportunity cost and has to compete with Shadowreaper of Doom (another UR option) and Uragiri (Common GGB) for damage. Should only be picked up as a luxury.

Tarnished Blade of Elders

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Sword. Comes with a skill:

  • Skill: Standard Weapon-based skill. Deals -50% damage and attempts to inflict a Power: (5*[Hits]/[Attempts]) Darkness Poison for 2 turns. Poison heals the player's HP equal to the true damage dealt (IE limited by the monster's remaining HP). This has +0 Save Bonus, player Mainstat/LUK vs. monster END/LUK.

ShadowReaper of Doom

MC 0-Proc Axe. Comes with a flavour effect, and a toggle:

  • Flavor Effect: Pays -6 MRM. Attempt to inflict a Power: (1.55*[Hits]/[Attempts]) Darkness Burn for 2 turns. This has a +0 Save Bonus, player STR/LUK vs. monster CHA/LUK.
  • Doom Berserker Mode (Toggle): While toggled, lower the BtH lean from -3 to -25. Additionally, Burn is increased to Power: 2.125.

An absolute monster of a weapon, ShadowReaper of Doom is one of the strongest weapons in the game in terms of raw damage thanks to its massive -25 BtH lean. However, this makes it completely impractical to use outside of wars due to the massive drop in accuracy. Thanks to stiff competition, this should not be picked up outside of luxury.

Terror Eater

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Sword/Spear/Sword. Comes with a skill:

  • Eat Fear: Weapon-based Darkness skill. Can only be used if monster is Afraid. Has no cost. Consumes Fear, and deals increased damage based on the potency and duration of the Fear. Damage dealt is divided by monster's Darkness resistance.

Terror Eater is an extremely powerful status eater, helped further due to dividing damage exclusively by Darkness resistance. Imbues and Bloodzerkers can forcibly shift it away from doing Darkness damage, multiplying effective damage dealt. Despite this, should not be picked up outside of luxury, as this much damage is overkill for mobs, and all modern Bosses have Freedom, completely locking access to the skill.

Lights of Destiny

MC Melee/Magic 0-Proc Axes. Comes in multiple variants with varying elements.

  • MC: If the player were to lose a turn due to being immobilized (Fear, Freeze-like effects, Paralysis, etc), they do not. First use per battle is free. All subsequent uses will cost 100% Melee in SP (385 at 143). Only works if monster is (PowLvl+20) or lower than the weapon (173 or lower at 143). Each weapon tracks its own uses separately.

  • MC: Comes with a toggle. When toggled:

Horo-Show Void Vanquisher

MC Ice Melee 0-Proc Sword. Can toggle to Harm Mode:

The only free, always-available, and non-GGB 0-Proc Harm option for Warriors who do not want to pay the Prismatic Burn upkeep of Caissa. Unfortunately, this weapon is incredibly unreliable, owing to its random-heavy damage range and -5 BtH lean.

MC Energy Melee/Ranged 20-Proc/100-Proc weapon. Can toggle to Harm Mode:

MC Melee/Ranged/Magic 0-Proc Harm Sword/Glaive/Staff. Pays MC and 5% Melee (3.75% if Magic) in HP (17 for Me/Ra; 13 for Ma at 150) instead of taking a damage penalty.

While technically the "best" pure Harm weapon on paper due to having the lowest resource cost, this distinction doesn't necessarily make it any better in practice. Should not be picked up outside of luxury.
