Overcharged MC Fire Spell. Pays 90% Melee in HP (97 at 150; uses old standards) to deal +45% damage.

  • MC: Deals +5% damage.

The best Fire Spell for damage due to using an old HP standard. Do note that if it gets updated, it will cost 313 HP per cast rather than 97.

Standard MC Fire Spell.

  • MC: Gains +4 BTH.

The best fire spell for hitcount (15). It may be adjusted down to six in the distant future. It does not cost tokens.

The other best Fire Spell that doubles as compression. Technically weaker than Warmaster's Burst due to MC going into compression, and being up to date with HP cost.

The best Water (and Energy) spell in the game for pure damage.

Hyperalphean Invocation

Overcharged MC Water Spell. Pays 40% Melee in SP (157 at 150) rather than extra MP.

While it seems like it would be a top damage option, the spell has a massive +20 BtH lean, effectively making it do about as much damage as a standard spell.

  • MC: Uses MC and overcharged cost to inflict (32.38 x Hits/4)% water elevuln for 3 turns. 50% save, inflicts INT/LUK vs STR/LUK

Indirectly the highest F2P water damage option, due to inflicting elevuln, and due to its -10 BTH lean.

  • MC: Deals +5% damage.

The best Wind Spell for damage due to using an old HP standard. Do note that if it gets updated, it will cost 313 HP per cast rather than 97.

The best wind spell for hitcount (5). It has a wide damage range.

Overcharged MC Wind/Ice Spell. Pays 100% Melee in HP (348 at 150) to deal +50% damage. Also comes in standard and efficient variants.

The other best option for damaging Wind spells. Comes with extra compression utility.

Borrow

Wind Spell.

  • Flavour Effect: Deals 1.5x damage. Monster heals 24% of the damage taken each turn for 5 turns (120% damage total).

While technically the top damage option for Wind, Borrow's gimmick means fights must end quickly before it starts dealing less net damage compared to other options.

Due to the nature of Borrow its value is confusing, a graph has been made, illustrating how strong it is based on how many rounds of it have been cast.

Reading the Graph:

Red Line is when compared with a regular level 150 Spell with no lean and no MC.

Blue Line is when compared with Arctic Tornado (Comparison assuming Boosters, otherwise they deal the same damage).

X axis indicates the number of consecutive casts.

Y axis indicates the value percentage of the spell. If that confuses you, Positive Y values indicate "better", negative Y values indicate "worse". (Ex: If X = 1 and Y = 1.5 it means 1 cast of Borrow is worth 0.5 additional casts of the other spell)

Overcharged MC Earth Spell, 4 hits.

  • MC: Pays MC and 110% melee worth of spell damage (~44% of total spell damage) to inflict several effects.

A permanent 10% earth elevuln with background change. Mainstat/LUK vs END/LUK save. A (10xEarthresxHits/4)% stun rate daze for two turns. Mainstat/LUK vs STR/LUK. A 1 turn -13% damage eleshield to the player.

An earth spell that does reduced damage, but can ramp up to do great damage, or be used in combination with other earth spells.

Galvawk's Charge

Standard Energy Spell, 8 hits.

The best energy spell for hitcount. Its max level is 145, which means it deals 3% less damage and has 1 less bth compared to a level 150 spell. It has melee hits for flavor, they behave the same as magic hits.

Vidrir's Judgement

MC Energy Spell. Pays ~107.69% Melee in HP (162 at 150; uses old standards) for Auto-Hit with no damage penalty.

  • MC: +10% damage if monster is affected by a Burn.

The strongest Auto-Hit Spell not tied to an armour thanks to paying HP rather than damage. As an added bonus, it has abundant hitcount to play around damage caps. Due to being released on a multitude of old standards, it currently pays slightly more HP than it should.

Old standard Melee Light "Spell". Uses END for stat damage. Costs HP (151 at 150) rather than MP.

  • MC: Attempts to inflict a Power: 0.5 Light Burn for 4 turns. This has +0 Save Bonus, player END/LUK vs. monster DEX/LUK.

A unique spell that exists for tank builds, costing HP and using END for stat damage. Do note that the HP cost is on old standards, and costs much less HP than intended.

Archmage Research

Old standard Harm Spell. Choose bewteen 3 options on cast:

  • Summon Mana Spirit: Summons a Mana Spirit Guest. Omni-Elemental. 50% chance to attack. Deals 2.422x damage to compensate for both.
  • Dissipate Mana: Damages MP. Deals (0.72*[INT]/[ExpectedINT]*[MP Cost]) damage (705-1175 at 150). Does not gain stat damage.
  • Shape Mana: Damages HP. Pays 10% Melee in HP (15 at 150) instead of taking a Harm damage penalty.

A versatile Harm spell. Thanks to paying HP, Shape Mana deals full damage instead of taking a -10% Harm penalty. Do note that it uses old standards, and costs less HP than it should.

(Twisted) Siphon

MC Harm Spell. Choose between 3 versions on cast:

  • Siphon Life: MP spell. Deals 0.45x damage. Heals the player's HP equal to damage done. Costs ~110% standard spell cost in MP (719 at 150).
  • Siphon Life to Mana: Costs no MP. Deals 0.0675x damage. Heals the player's MP equal to 600% damage done.
  • Greater Siphon Life to Mana: SP spell. Deals 0.18x damage. Heals the player's MP equal to 600% damage done. Costs 137.5% Mele in SP (539 at 150).

An extremely powerful and versatile healing spell. While the original version is rare, a Twisted variant is available.
