Introduction

This page is generally intended for level 150 characters. Some of the strategies might be reproducible for lower level characters, but generally you shouldn't care too much about Z-Tokens before level 150, and for most purposes visiting Ballyhoo daily will provide most of your Gold needs.

Another point that should be made is that there are no monsters that actually give you Z-Tokens at an increased rate (at least, nothing known), and therefore Z-Token farming is mostly based around killing monsters in the level range of 130-150 as fast as possible without hitting the Gold cap.

And lastly, I'm including my strategy, but it may include items that are no longer available to you, and you will have to improvise.

Gold Farming

There are currently 5 good methods of farming Gold. The methods are ordered by order of profitability, with the most profitable being first.

Void Challenge

At the moment, Mr. Frostvalverse is in the void, giving 2,635,000 gold per kill. The strategy of killing him is mostly based around using Shadowfeeder Pendant to gain Celerity, and equipping Cryomancer's Robes + Imbue with Lore, and using a strong Ice Spell to kill him. You should avoid getting hit since he will blind you and you will miss your attacks. Check out this video made by Papi for their specific strategy.

Caecus

With a portal portrait being added with Caecus' inclusion in the Void takeover rotation, this is now the fastest option for mages besides Mr. Frostvalverse, but makes up for the fact by being significantly easier to beat. Similar to Zardnado, Caecus takes around 2 turns to beat, and doesn't dodge any of your attacks, but gives around 1.5x as much gold, making him much faster to hit your daily gold cap with. Non-mage builds, however, will have difficulties using this farming method, as Caecus inflicts backlash on attacks that are considered weapon attacks (so normal attacks, weapon-based skills such as the Bloodzerker combo or Torontosaurus' Basket Breath, and old-lean skills such as Taladosian). The easiest ways to beat him are by equipping Pyromancer's Robe (with Imbue with Lore) or Pyromancer Bloodmage, wielding the Pyromancer's Bloodblade and using Celtic Wheel shield's +50 INT drive, alongside the Poelala pet and guest if you have them, then casting either Destruction Burst or Blood Pyre (Pyromancer Bloodmage's built-in spell) until he goes down.

This farm requires a house as well as the painting, available when Caecus is on rotation (find out when here).

Zardnado

This was often considered the best Gold Farming method before the Caecus portrait was added, and is still effective for non-mage builds as they have trouble beating Caecus. You can cap in 20 minutes which is very fast, you heal after every battle, and he doesn't dodge at all at 250 DEX making him an easy farm, while also you often reach your Z-Token cap before you reach your Gold cap, making it potent for farming both.

This farming method does require however both a house, and the seasonal painting available during Shark Week on the week of July 17th.

Warrior Method

Required Items
  • Blazing Bloodzerker Armor
  • Bloodzerker's Blazing Sword (or another Blood Blade)
  • Dunamis Pet & Guest (although just the guest is usually enough if you're reluctant to spend $50)
  • Chieftain's Ironthorn
  • Minotaur's Pride
  • Essence Orb
Strategy

Just equip everything, activate the skill of Bloodzerker's Sword and attack. Refill your SP bar as needed with Essence Orb

Mage Method

Required Items
  • Pyromancer's Robes
  • Destruction Burst
  • Celtic Wheel
  • Poelala Pet & Guest (can be easily done without them at all, but they speed up the process)
  • Grakma's Harbinger (Optional) (This item makes it much more probable that you will one-shot Zardnado, making it a good option)
Strategy

Equip everything, use Imbue with Lore, turn on Celtic Wheel's toggle, and make sure Grakma's Harbinger is set to the Berserk status effect, and cast Destruction Burst.

Beastmaster Method

Required Items
  • Jolly Bard of War
  • Doomquake Minions
  • Grotesque Eye Spy
  • Pies
  • Foam Finger
  • Essence Orb
  • AQ's 16th Birthday Cake
  • Spirit Stone
Required Stats
STR DEX INT CHA LUK
Minimum ? 170 80 250 ?
Recommended 0 170 80 250 250
Strategy

This is by far the most taxing method, requiring a specific stat spread, and a lot of seasonal and two rare items.

Use Bard of War's skill to boost your guest only, and switch your Foam Finger to the strongest boost, with the Toggle for Pies on as well. Use rounds where you start first to fill your SP bar to full with the use of the Birthday Cake and Essence Orb, and switch to Spirit Stone before you attack using the armor damage skill.

Shadow Gogg Farming

The second best method. While it requires a house, it does not require a painting as opposed to Zardnado, making it more accessible.

It provides similar amounts of Gold, but unfortunately you have to return to town after each battle and click the fountain to heal, and the Shadow Gogg turns take very long, as not only his attack is long, but also he has a chance of hitting you sometimes twice or even three or four times a round. Hence, this method is recommended only if you have high LUK to increase your chances of going first.

Mage Method

Required Items
  • Aeromancer's Robes
  • Adventurer Figure/Sila's Staff
  • Poelala Pet & Guest (can be done without them, but they speed up the process)
  • Exalted Paladin Guard
  • Borrow
Strategy

Equip everything and cast Borrow.

Only Imbue with Lore if you are unable to consistently kill the Gogg with one cast. This will conserve mana, saving you the time of having to heal it back up more often.

Use Ambush Potion if you have it unlocked to increase your chances of going first and hence dying less.

Werepyre Hybrids can also use this method. Simply swap Adventurer Figure/Sila's Staff for Divine Kazemai Athame for the BtH boost to make up for your lack of DEX.

Queen Hybee Farming

For those who have neither the painting, nor the house, Queen Hybee is your next best option, offering less than half the gold of the Shadow Gogg and Zardnado, making it much slower.

Warrior Method

Required Items
  • Angel of Souls
  • Bloodzerker's Blazing Sword (or another Blood Blade)
  • Dunamis Pet & Guest (can be easily done without them at all, but they speed up the process)
  • Chieftain's Ironthorn
  • Irt of Osiris
Strategy

Just equip everything, and use the skill of Angel of Souls.

Mage Method

Required Items
  • Tenebromancer's Robes
  • Destruction Burst
  • Any Light Shield
  • Poelala Pet & Guest (can be easily done without them at all, but they speed up the process)
  • Irt of Osiris
Strategy

Equip everything, use Imbue with Lore, and cast Destruction Burst.

Beastmaster Method

Required Items
  • Solid Gold Sol Neko
  • Grimlord of Nulgath
  • Aberrant The Exile (If you have it) or any pure damage Darkness Pet.
  • Pies
  • Foam Finger
  • Essence Orb
  • AQ's 16th Birthday Cake
  • Spirit Stone
Strategy

This is by far the most taxing method, requiring a seasonal, a GGB, and a rare item.

Use the damage boosting skills of Neko, and switch your Foam Finger to the strongest boost, with the Toggle for Pies on as well. Use rounds where you start first to fill your SP bar to full with the use of the Birthday Cake and Essence Orb, and switch to Spirit Stone before you attack using your weapon to attack.

Token Farming

Queen Hybee Token Farming

Queen Hybee is the preferred method for Token farming for Spell able characters (Mages of any kind and Hybrids), since it seems as though Token rates and values are determined by the monster's level and Power Level. You heal after every battle, and you kill her relatively fast. Warriors and Rangers can't consistently kill it fast enough and occasionally die so for them the Nerfkitten Scion method is better.

Use the methods described above for strategy.

Nerfkitten Scion Token Farming

For those who are not satisfied with either the speed, or the yield of the gold methods, and can't consistently one-shot (and occasionally die to) Queen Hybee this is a method for exclusively Z-Token farming.

You will fight Nerfkitten Scion (Level 130).

Required Items
  • Your favorite Earth 0-proc.
  • Werewolf Armor
  • Chieftain's Ironthorn
  • Dunamis Pet & Guest (Optional)
  • AQ's 16th Birthday Cake
Strategy

At the start if your turn use the Birthday Cake to refill some SP, and you should be comfortable enough to OHKO him with the Beast Form of the Werewolf Subrace.

Do note you require above 155 LUK to always start against him, removing the need to heal between battles.

Mage Method

Required Items
  • Your favorite Earth 0-proc.

  • Poelala Pet & Guest (One is required, two is optional)
  • If you do not have any Poelala, even at 0-CHA any Earth / Energy pet is acceptable.
  • Essence Orb
  • Rejuvenating Pendant
Strategy

Every couple of kills refill your SP bar with Essence Orb, otherwise smack him with the Subrace while equipping Rejuvenating Necklace. Your attacks will make sure you don't have to heal between battles.

Do note you require above 155 LUK to always start against him, removing the need to heal between battles.
